Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development and Instruction:
Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with educational standards and goals.
Provide instruction in Spanish language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Integrate cultural, historical, and geographical knowledge of Spanish-speaking countries into lessons.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Classroom Management:
Create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Implement classroom management strategies to maintain student engagement and discipline.
Use technology and other educational tools to enhance the learning experience.
Student Assessment and Feedback:
Assess student progress through formal and informal methods.
Provide constructive feedback to students and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Prepare students for standardized tests and proficiency exams, if applicable.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the school's language program.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and opportunities for improvement.
Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences.
Cultural Ambassador:
Act as a cultural ambassador, promoting an understanding and appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures.
Organize and participate in cultural events, language clubs, and other extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
Teaching certification or credential in Spanish language instruction (as required by the employing educational institution).
Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and inspire students of various ages and backgrounds.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in a classroom setting and may involve standing for extended periods.
The teacher should be prepared to adapt to various educational technologies and teaching resources.
Participation in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or cultural events, may require additional hours beyond the standard school day.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
