Includes consolidation of parts, organization of facility, bin level management, part coding, quotes, and direct financial transactions for automated transactions.
Supports SAP migration project for site to new CMMS.
MRO Coordinator creates the system to be managed with autonomy to create and organize within boundaries of company requirements.
Within two years, MRO can run with minimal support.
MRO Coordinator will be groomed to take over work activity coordinator (WAC) responsibilities in January 2026.
Day-to-day coordination includes incoming/outgoing MRO materials, tools, and equipment.
Verifies materials of construction and performs labeling and barcoding.
Will act as a focal point for acquisition, scheduling and distribution of materials, supplies and service requisitions.
Ensures that material and equipment requested by the planner or WAC are ready and available and performs kitting for job packages.
Shipping/Receiving resource for site; involves inventory, project and order receiving, warehousing, delivery, distribution and transportation, returns and special material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Coordination Create new Douglas owned MRO warehouse.
Estimate required square footage and elevation required for Douglas owned parts.
Create intuitive stocking system with barcoding that syncs with new CMMS system.
Analyzes, (re-)establish and manages MRO inventory levels Maintains MRO inventory Records; sets up new items for inventory Collaborates with Operations and Maintenance team members to define Critical Spare Part needs and evaluates against current inventory requirements.
Sets parameters for a Critical spare part Handles reservations and backorders for MRO inventory items; works with suppliers to identify strategic secondary suppliers for long lead time parts Executes MRO inventory replenishments Analyzes surplus/obsolete materials or equipment and initiates investment recovery process Monitors supplier performances regarding timelines and completeness of deliveries Participates in CMMS system integration.
(Migration from host SAP to new CMMS system, changes to programs, reporting, functionality and testing) Generates data and reports for users (parts set to stock vs parts not set to stock) Performs technical identification of new and/or existing MRO materials Acts as problem solver for technical aspects on MRO materials Participates in standardization of MRO materials; participates in share the spare process Acts as an SME for other departments Initiates supply chain improvements and adding cushion to planned man hours and costs.
Initiates cycle count of on-hand material vs available in the system Implements 5S program for MRO warehouse; implements bar-coding system for inventory and ties it into CMMS.
Manages part checkout process during on-shift vs off-shift.
Updates part inventory with manual checkouts.
Manages security of inventory off shift.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned Marshaling Marshal's & manages incoming / outgoing MRO materials, tools and equipment.
Coordinates / processes surplus material Coordinates operation of the Company MRO Store/Warehouse Issues material, tools and equipment Handles site consumable stock /inventory Executes quantity and quality checks on incoming/outgoing MRO materials Performs labeling and barcoding Participates in incoming and outgoing logistics Materials Coordination Enters materials, tools, equipment requests via Procurement System or P-card and confirms delivery date.
Works with procurement in Liberty, MO to establish procurement process with our CMMS system.
Communicates the order and delivery status, typically by setting various material status/flags throughout the work order cycle in the Computerized Maintenance Management System Communicates both ways any potential changes in material specifications between supplier and requestor and initiates system updates as appropriate.
Shares and raises awareness of MRO potential whether for stock or non-stock item coding.
Forwards non-coded items to Planner & PPM Coordinator Coordinates the disposition of all surplus material Monitors/tracks materials, tools and equipment orders upon receipt May provide requisitioning support for requirements outside of maintenance:
operation supplies, projects, etc.
Arranges materials, tools and equipment in a manner, that it can be identified and picked up according to job needs Gather information and input into the appropriate maintenance measures/KPI's such as Hot Shots (abnormal cost of rush delivery), Receipt backlog, material delays Communicate vendor performance to procurement services Coordinate the repair and or return of materials, tools and equipment obtained on a value added work order Utilizes and influences AMSL/Site Sourcing Guide.
(Maintenance representative for procurement) Uses class/codes to obtain contract pricing, where available Works closely with procurement, coding, planning, scheduling and work coordination to provide seamless execution of the GMWP Tracks progress versus required delivery date until receipt and when progress is behind schedule.
Follows-up as focal point on all issues with material, orders, delays.
Periodically reviews material status report tools to assure on-time delivery including refurbishment items Requisitioning of off-site resources depending on organizational design and role availability Supports WAC/Planner in sending material back to warehouse or vendor Uses Metrics to measure MC task (hot shot, delays, etc.
